This project constisted of the construction of a 48x32 foot CMU block sodium hypochlorite disinfection facility building complete with solution tanks, metering pumps, piping, HVAC, lighting and electrical control systems, sanitary sewer manholes and piping, storm drainage facilities, and final site fencing, grading, surfacing and paving. The existing 29x11 foot CMU disinfection building was demolished and removed. Existing filter building improvements included the addition of two 12 foot diameter vertical pressure filter units, face piping, extension of existing piping, expanded access platforms, new stairway, additional booster pump and motor, and electrical control systems. This project also included installation of diesel engine generators at two existing City wells.
